16 Year Old Boy Dies Trying To Start Generator

It was a sad day in Bauchi for the family of Mubarak Aliyu Gidado, a 16 year old boy was killed as he was trying to start a generator which burst into flames. According to Mohammed, Mubarak's father, the fuel caught fire and it consumed him as he struggled with it. After much struggle with the flame, Mubarak was burnt extensively.

Mubarak, according to findings is an SS3 student who was to sit for his mathematics certificate exams the next day but gave up the ghost on Friday after a brief stay in the hospital where he was taken to after the incident. His father described Mubarak as an obedient child, while his uncle further said his brilliance cannot be quantified. Mubarak has been buried according to Islamic rites.
